An ATB is a bike that is rugged enough for tracks and trails but will not stand up to real off road hammer! Great for the off road image, but only for gentle use! Receiving further upgrades for 2009, the Giant Rock for Gents or Ladies are even better value entry level machines. If you want something just slightly higher specification than the Rock, this is the Giant bike for you, with an Aluminium frame for either Gents or Ladies, the Boulder has a fantastic specification for this pricepoint. It has Shimano Rapid Fire 24 speed gears and an Alivio rear mech and a suspension fork with a threadless column for reliability, cassette hub quick release wheels and memory foam saddle and micro adjusting seatpost.
