It has a 50mm deep carbon rim, silky smooth bearings in a carbon fibre hub body, aero stainless spokes, 16 in the front and 20 in the rear. It can be bought either for tubular or clincher tyres, however, if you are spending this amount of money, you will naturally want the best performance possible, and that would come with the tubular option. £985 a pair.

A new product for the UK for 2008 is wheel manufacturer from Italy - Grammo
Their wheels are a bit cheaper than Corimas but the quality and speed is still pretty high. The Viper 50T (50mm deep carbon rim for tubulars) is priced at £625 a pair.
The deaper, more aerodynamic and fantastic looking Viper 88T (88mm carbon rim) comes in at £750 the pair. |
